| Generators with a capacity of normally 500 m3/h are applied on Crude Oil Tankers, both for topping-up purposes during the voyage and for inerting slop and ballast tanks. The Smit topping-up gas generator fits with any Flue Gas System on board new and existing vessels. |

Topping-up generators are generally used in combination with a Fluegas System on board of Crude Oil tankers and Product tankers. When Fluegas is not available and cargo tanks require some Inert Gas, the Topping-up Generator is used. |
